Guide to starting yoga

When to practice?
It is important to practice on an empty stomach, at least 2 to 4 hours after a meal.

Ideally, yoga is practiced in the morning, before breakfast or just after a mini snack. You will be lighter and more available. And it's a great way to start the day.
When you get home from work, to relax and feel good for the evening.
Just before you go to bed, to prepare for a good night's sleep.
At any time of the day, when you need a break, when you are available and not in the middle of digestion!
Whatever the time, yoga should help you feel better and reconnect with yourself.

Where to practice?
Choose a quiet and, if possible, unencumbered space.
Plan a little space around your carpet to be comfortable!
Avoid sun or wind, as well as places that are too noisy or with traffic.
You need calm to concentrate, practice, and feel what is happening inside.

How often?
Each yoga session can do you a lot of good, even if it only lasts 10 minutes!

But to accumulate the effects of the practice, and for them to take root on a long-term basis, it is important to be regular.
The advantage of is that you can follow a short session every day, or longer if you can.

Ideally, practice a little every day, or at least once a week to improve. In any case, at we aim for regularity rather than intensity!
