HOW TO CHOOSE A DYNAMIC YOGA OUTFIT?
Ashtanga, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Hot/Bikram... to practice these different types of dynamic yoga, an adapted outfit is necessary. Three criteria are then to be taken into account: The opacity of the product, the freedom of movement it offers and a good evacuation of perspiration.
When performing more or less acrobatic postures, the fabric of your pants tends to be stretched (dog upside down for example) hence the importance of choosing a garment made of opaque material that will not let parts of your body show through.
FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT
The practice of dynamic yoga requires a lot of agility and flexibility. Opt for a close-to-the-body posture, like a second skin, which will allow you to be perfectly comfortable, especially when doing inverted postures.
You can also choose clothes without seams or with ultra-flat seams to avoid any risk of friction.
To better disconnect and refocus on the practice, it is essential that your outfit accompanies you in every movement and does not hinder you in the realization of any type of postures.
THE EVACUATION OF PERSPIRATION
Managing perspiration is essential in dynamic yoga, which is more demanding on the body than gentle yoga, in order to practice as comfortably as possible. For this type of yoga, opt for lightweight clothing with breathable technical fabrics that effectively wick away perspiration and keep you dry.
